hunting
i am a bold burgundy
translucent curve
pinging with the sensual “oohâ€
that echoes through the winds –
supple muscles
rolling under the striped skin
of a bengal cat –
i move into infinity
and sing the ambiance
of the jungle birds
and crickets –
_
the forest is steel and concrete –
she waits somewhere
eyes wide high in a tree –
_
i will slink
fold
blend
drip
through the animals
_
absent-mindedly guarding her
with their ignorance
and day-to-day sufferance –
_
and when i finally pace around her trunk
growl and look up
_
there will be only my eyes
through the veil of me
sex in seeing
wisdom in the inevitable
touch
